Welcome to the hands-on, creativity-boosting world of collage where a mix of materials – colourful and textured papers, magazines, handmade papers and transparencies – come together to create imaginative and original new artworks. Each week, we’ll explore project ideas involving playful collage-making techniques such as layering, tearing, cutting and image-mixing as you explore composition, texture and everything else about this exciting option for personal expression. Let your imagination lead the way – it’s sure to deliver something new each week.
Members: $106.72 + HST, Non-Members: $109 + HST. Thursday.
Amanda Jameson
Amanda has been drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil. She grew up in the country inspired by sunsets and the rural landscapes around her. She started her art career at DVSA then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Art and a diploma in Child and Youth work. She loves to encourage children to be artistic and express themselves creatively in a joyful and playful way.
