With a focus on bold colour mark-making and creative expression, these classes promise a fun and bright adventure in pastel art. Using soft pastels, oil pastels and a range of textured papers, the artists will explore techniques like shading, smudging, layering and scratch-through effects. Each project begins with a playful prompt – perhaps a vivid landscape, a whimsical creature or an abstract world waiting to be discovered – before we dive into experimentation. With a mix of guidance and plenty of creative freedom, the artists will learn to trust their intuition as they create artworks that shine with the magic of their own unique touch.
