1A25 *NEW* Botanical Art: Chasing Shadows Series 1 – A Focus On Shadow and Dark Value

-Adult- | Available

One of the most important elements in capturing realism with plant subjects is the accurate rendering of shadow. Shadow areas help mold the form of a subject and create important contrasts and depth perception. Using watercolours, you’ll focus on the best colour choices for shadows and when/how to under-paint and/or over-paint shadows. Participants will be provided with materials information specific to the workshop. Note: not a workshop for beginner level artists. You should be comfortable with drawing from plant specimens. Participants must already own or purchase a copy of the accompanying e-booklet Chasing Shadows for Watercolour available as an add-on when registering for $20 + HST.

Members: $160.38 + HST, Non-Members: $165 + HST (Prices include $3 material fee)
