Move beyond traditional depictions of nature and explore more abstract, expressive approaches to landscape. Through painting, drawing and sketching, you’ll discover how colour, shape and composition can capture the spirit and emotion of a place rather than its literal form. We’ll experiment with layering, mark-making and dynamic brushwork to translate the emotional and atmospheric qualities of the natural world into an abstract visual language.
