Ages 7-10: 1C11-A *NEW* Minecraft Meets Art Week 1 AM
Summer Camp | Available
Let’s mine our imaginations and build artistic worlds — one block at a time. For the young artist who can’t get enough of Minecraft, this studio time is a dream come true. Inspired by the game’s iconic blocky world, we'll experiment with a variety of art mediums as we collage characters, delve into block printing, sculpt mobs and creatures in clay and much more – all inspired by the art and design of the Minecraft environment. We’ll explore colour, texture and pattern just like in the game — but with real paint, paper and tools. Ideal for artists of all abilities – no prior art experience required. While the focus is on hands-on artmaking, we’ll channel the spirit of Minecraft’s designing and building into every project. (Gaming time? We’ll save that for home).
Members: $135.52 + HST, Non-Members: $139 + HST
