Week 4: How Great Artists Use Colour
Dive into a world of colour and imagination as we create vibrant, eye-catching projects every week. The young artists will explore the exciting realms of drawing, painting and collage, learning a wide variety of techniques and styles along the way. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, blending hands-on artmaking with special story times that inspire creativity and connection. Plus, every artist will design their very own personal sketchbook and art portfolio — a treasured collection of their pieces to take home and share.

Sandra Greenblatt
Nature, famous artists and children’s literature provide the inspiration for Sandra’s lessons, fostering a sense of creative play in the studio. An art educator for over 20 years, she not only teaches at DVSA, but has brought her love for art history and its genres to young artists in HWDSB and HWCDSB schools and at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. Emanating a warm and caring manner, she has a flair for creating lasting bonds with her students.
