We’ll kick off the new year with a comic adventure starring your young artist as the main character. In this dynamic one-day camp, the artists will dive into character design, autobiographical storytelling, comic structuring, zine folding and inking techniques. Through guided exploration, they'll reflect on where they've been and imagine where they're headed in 2026 – bringing their personal journey to life in a one-of-a-kind comic creation.
Course Fee: $75 + HST
Kento Cady
Kento is an engaging and enthusiastic hafu cartoonist and children's art educator based in Hamilton. A graduate of Sheridan College with an Honours Bachelor of Illustration, his work has appeared in numerous exhibitions and publications. Kento brings stories of togetherness to life using materials accessible to young artists, making his art both relatable and inspiring. He's probably working on a zine or comic right now.
