Join mixed media artist Taruna Singh for a fun day of printmaking and collage. You’ll learn how to roll acrylic paint onto Gelli plates and then use traditional Indian wooden printing blocks to press designs into the painted surface. The blocks create intricate impressions that transfer beautifully onto paper, resulting in colourful and patterned monoprints. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a unique set of handmade greeting cards and art prints. You’ll also be introduced to mixed media collage techniques that transform your prints into layered, one-of-a-kind pieces. No experience needed – just bring your imagination to enjoy a day of colour, pattern and play.
