Steacy is a non-binary artist and writer who takes rich and subtle photographs of seemingly ordinary scenes. Join them for an informative discussion about queer aesthetics and what that means, as well as a group photo shoot at University Plaza with ongoing feedback from Steacy and other students. The class will convene at DVSA, then make your way to University Plaza, then reconvene for more discussion at DVSA. Pack a lunch! This workshop builds on Queering the Camera 1 offered last year, but don't worry if you missed it – everything will be discussed. While this workshop will have an LGBTQIA+ focus, all are welcome. Bring your camera – DSLR, point & shoot or smart phone.
