3A68-A *NEW* Botanical Palette – Cool Hues and Spring Subjects: Coloured Pencil (Online)

-Adult- | Available

As winter’s grey days fade, botanical artists eagerly anticipate the vibrant burst of spring blooms. In these immersive 3-day workshops – offered online with Margaret Best or in-person with Heather Gross – the focus will be on mastering pigments that blend and match the cool hues of spring: vibrant pinks, magentas, lilacs, purples and blue-violets. This is also the season when florists and garden centres begin showcasing these colours in tulips, hyacinths, crocuses, anemones and pansies. Come prepared to draw and explore these cool hues alongside fellow artists, using live spring specimens as inspiration. Previous experience in drawing from plant specimens and using coloured pencil/watercolour techniques with Heather Gross or Margaret Best is strongly recommended. Workshop booklet available: Botanical Palette – Cool Hues and Spring Subjects as an add-on when registering for $20 + HST.
Members: $354.29 + HST, Non-Members: $365 + HST
