In this vibrant one-day acrylic workshop, we’ll explore the expressive world of Impressionist painting, working from a still life arrangement full of colour, texture and personality. You’ll learn how to keep your brushwork loose and lively while observing how light and colour interact across objects and surfaces. We’ll experiment with gel medium to enhance texture and layering, expand your understanding of colour theory and explore how to create visual harmony and movement in your composition. Add a splash of pattern with a tablecloth or wallpaper background and you’ll walk away with a beautiful, expressive painting – plus new skills to continue your Impressionist journey. Open to all levels – previous painting experience beneficial, but not necessary.
