Following a brief discussion around personal mapping, we'll travel to several locations and photograph elements to create drawings as part of a larger personal map. Then it’s a return to the studio with our collected photos to use as reference material to create artwork for personal maps. The focus can include reimagining historic sites, exploring liminal spaces or documenting buildings and landscapes in transition. Each can be collected and plotted as personal symbols on our maps.
