Explore the art of portrait drawing in this relaxed and inspiring evening workshop – perfect for beginner to intermediate artists. We’ll kick things off with a visual presentation featuring standout examples plucked from both art history and contemporary portraiture, highlighting what makes a composition truly successful. Then, through guided exercises designed to sharpen your skills, you’ll create portrait studies from a live costumed model. Along the way, you’ll learn how to improve proportion, expression and technique while developing your own artistic voice.
