Inspired by the playful style of illustrator Eric Carle, this two-day workshop is bursting with colour, texture and imagination. On Day 1, we’ll dive into the world of abstract pattern-making, using paint to create vibrant, textural papers full of personality and flair. Then on Day 2, it’s time to snip, glue and build – transforming our painted papers into large-scale collages that celebrate the magic of winter. From snowmen and cardinals to woolly mittens, ice skaters, friendly yetis and mysterious tracks in the snow, together we’ll dream up our own winter wonderlands and bring them to life through expressive, hands-on artmaking. Please note: we are unable to provide refunds/credits/transfers for these courses.
Course Fee: $85 + HST. Sunday.

As graduate of McMaster University’s Studio Art Program, Heather brings an abundance of knowledge and creativity to the DVSA studios. Her classes are informative, stuctured and a blast to be in. A favourite with young artists, Heather fosters students to push their boundaries and explore their artistic abilities in an inclusive, comfortable and creative environment.
