Spend quality time with your young maker as you work side-by-side in the studio to create spirited pieces of art. Try different techniques in drawing, painting and collage as you explore colour, line, shape and texture. We’ll focus on projects related to the beauty of the winter season and learn about the lives and works of famous artists as we create projects inspired by their styles and approaches.
Members: $290.72 + HST, Non-Members: $299 + HST. Thursday.
Sandra Greenblatt
Nature, famous artists and children’s literature provide the inspiration for Sandra’s lessons, fostering a sense of creative play in the studio. An art educator for over 20 years, she not only teaches at DVSA, but has brought her love for art history and its genres to young artists in HWDSB and HWCDSB schools and at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. Emanating a warm and caring manner, she has a flair for creating lasting bonds with her students.
