Love to draw? Grab your pencils and let’s get sketching. This fun and focused class is perfect for beginner artists looking to build confidence and sharpen their skills using just a pencil set. Working entirely in grayscale, we’ll explore the foundations of drawing through a variety of creative exercises, covering essential techniques like value, contrast, texture, shading, perspective and composition – all while creating dynamic pencil artworks. Featured activities include still life studies, realistic space drawing using perspective and surface rendering for illustration. This class will help you see – and draw – the world in a whole new way. Artists will need to bring their own pencil set.
