Ages 7+: 2C19 *NEW* Storytelling Without Words

How do you tell an engaging story without using words? That’s the challenge in this unique class for the artist who loves to weave a good tale as much as they love to draw and paint. We’ll observe and practice the art of setting a scene, introducing engaging characters and conveying their actions while problem-solving how to share our imagined or true stories without too many (or any!) words. It’s a fun and imaginative studio time that introduces the concept of how best to communicate a narrative using symbols, expressions and colours in our illustrations and paintings.
Members: $261.62 + HST, Non-Members: $269 + HST. Thursday.

As graduate of McMaster University’s Studio Art Program, Heather brings an abundance of knowledge and creativity to the DVSA studios. Her classes are informative, stuctured and a blast to be in. A favourite with young artists, Heather fosters students to push their boundaries and explore their artistic abilities in an inclusive, comfortable and creative environment.
