A morning class for all levels. Wake up your creative side as you take time to develop your skills working on the potter's wheel – whether for the first time or the 500th time! Christie will give you the individual attention you need as a beginner or more experienced thrower. You’ll also learn the hand-forming techniques of working with clay such as pinching, coiling and soft slab construction to create your own ceramic pieces.
Members: $356.06 + HST, Non-Members: $365 + HST (Prices include $55 firing & glazing fee) Clay extra. Wednesday.

An active member of the Hamilton Potters’ Guild, Christie brings a calming influence and a dash of whimsy to the Pottery Studio. An instructor for over 20 years, she holds a Ceramics Diploma from Sheridan College and a BFA from NSCAD. Committed to helping students discover their voice in clay, she is living proof of the joy handmade pottery can bring into our daily lives.
