2A62 Botanical Art – Seeing Red in Watercolour
-Adult- | Available
No other colour in the spectrum visible to the human eye has quite the same impact as red. It always dominates an artwork in which it’s featured and is often one of the most challenging of colours to tame. Join Heather to unlock the secrets of success with this hue, working in watercolour and examining both composition and the warm or cool value range interpretations. Subject options will involve a choice of flower or fruit. Participants must be fully comfortable with the accurate drawing of an actual plant specimen. Participants must already own or purchase a copy of the accompanying e-booklet Botanical Palette - Seeing Red Painting Red - watercolour, available as an add-on when registering for $20 + HST.
Members: $144.92 + HST, Non-Members: $149 + HST (Price includes a $5 material fee). Saturday & Sunday.
