And, all materials provided. It’s a fun time – make it a date night with your partner or BFF. Discover the joy of throwing on the potter's wheel in this one-night class – no previous experience required. Marina will guide you step-by-step as you shape clay on the wheel into your very own ceramic piece. Participants can pick up their works at a later date once they have gone through the glazing and firing process.
Course Fee: $65 + HST. Friday.
Marina Van Raay
A DVSA student from a young age, Marina comes from a family of potters and is now a graduate of the Craft and Design Bachelor’s program at Sheridan College. In her own work, she embraces play as a design method, aiming to capture its essence with a process involving accessorizing, collaging and assembling components onto hand-built pieces post firing. She brings that same sense of creative joy to her classes along with a deep understanding of how best to help you develop your ceramic skills and artistic expression.
