Let’s illuminate your creativity as we learn how to use the power of light to create beautiful portraits. This workshop is ideal for the beginner photographer keen to explore how the inventive use of luminescence can enhance your photographs of human subjects. Through hands-on practice with natural and studio lighting, you’ll learn lighting fundamentals, camera settings and a number of creative techniques sure to make your portraits stand out. Prerequisite: basic camera and photography knowledge. Bring your DSLR/Mirrorless camera and tripod to class.

Jennifer Finn
A fine art photographer from Dundas, ON, Jennifer is lauded for her abstract work, which she says, “inspires her imagination and challenges her mind.” She holds a B.A. from McMaster and studied Photography at Sheridan College. Continually reminded that interesting images are hiding all around, she values and teaches an inventive approach grounded in photography fundamentals. She is honoured to share her passion for photography with aspiring artists.
