Learn how to make composite forms from multiple thrown pieces. In this two-day workshop, we’ll throw components on the first day and spend the second day playing and assembling to create new and diverse shapes. Together, we’ll explore complex forms such as teapots, candlesticks and sculptures, providing you with new skills to deepen your current practice. These skills can also be used to take simpler forms like plates, cups and bowls to a new level. Glazing will be done by the instructor after the workshop. Intermediate throwing skills recommended.

Taylor Goldsbrough
Describing clay as the perfect material for her voice, Taylor is a functional potter currently living and making in Hamilton. A graduate of Sheridan College with a specialty in ceramics, she has been creating award-winning clay works for over a decade. With a combination of deeply textured functional forms and sculptural elements, each piece tells a compelling story.
