Unlock the secrets of sketching on the go, capturing the spontaneous moments of life with ease and creativity. Imagine you’re in a bustling local coffee shop, sketchbook in hand, ready to capture the dynamic atmosphere around you. But there’s a challenge – people are moving, the environment is ever-changing, and you need to find a way to translate this all onto paper. In this course, we’ll focus on how to quickly capture the essence of these fleeting moments. Our explorations will include key drawing techniques such as truthful observation, gestural and contour drawing and memory drawing exercises. These methods will help improve both the speed and accuracy of your sketches. As you build your skills, we’ll gradually introduce more advanced concepts, allowing you to progressively expand your capabilities. For artists with some drawing experience. *Please note: there will be no class on May 19^th*
