Venture down the path a little further on your drawing journey. Building on concepts introduced in Beginners’ Drawing, you’ll approach tonal/value studies using various media including ink, toned papers and coloured pencils. New topics include 2-point perspective, measuring/proportion, density-controlled values and basic colour theory. You’ll further develop your observational skills and drawing ability while studying still-life set ups. Also included are three sessions with portrait models (excluding Section C, no model provided). One previous course in drawing is recommended. *Please note: there will be no class on May 19th*

Natasja Bischoff
Natasja is a Hamilton visual artist whose work is primarily concerned with the composition of abstract forms. With a B.F.A. from Guelph University, she is known for her dynamic drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media pieces. A member of The Assembly artist collective, she regularly participates in regional invitational and group shows. She is comfortable teaching both adults and children, creating a studio environment that fosters creativity and experimentation.
