Ages 12+: 4C26 *NEW* Introduction to Stained Glass

A special after-school session. Discover the basic steps of creating a beautiful stained glass work of art. In the first class, we’ll learn the techniques of cutting glass, grinding, foiling, soldering and finishing. The remaining studio sessions are for you to fabricate – under Teresa’s guidance – a 6 to 9 piece suncatcher you can then take home to enjoy. Note: this is a hands-on class and a certain amount of hand coordination is required for the fabrication process.
Members: $162.09 + HST, Non-Members: $165 + HST (Prices include $60 material fee). Thursday.
Teresa Seaton
Teresa’s uniquely sculptural fine art stained glass features multi-layers of glass panels with spun wire and is a highlight in numerous regional galleries and private collections. With a B.F.A. from York University and a graphic design diploma from Sheridan College, she works full-time as a fine art stained glass artist and is the owner of Teresa Seaton Studio & Gallery in Burlington, ON. Teaching classes and workshops since 2014, she believes in stressing strong art fundamentals and original design while guiding the next generation of glass artists. Learn more about Teresa here.
