Ages 11+ 1C33-B Abstract Art for Teens Week 4 PM
Summer Camp | Available
Let’s experiment in the studio! Making abstract art offers new opportunities for self-expression as we plunge into inspired colour mixing, brushwork and design. We’ll review different abstract works produced throughout history, study the abstract “rules” and learn more about modern artists, their mediums and motivation. And of course, we’ll make our own art, including painting with acrylic on canvas using a variety of tools, working with paper and cardboard, exploring watercolour techniques, trying out printmaking methods and creating sculpture using found objects. There’ll be lots of demos and free time to explore each medium to see what you can create.
Members: $170.74 + HST, Non-Members: $175 + HST
