Drawing, painting, printmaking and collage – it's a lively week of remarkable creations as the young artists make colourful artworks for their portfolios inspired by the summer season and children's literature. We’ll also discover the work of famous artists and explore using their techniques and styles for our own pieces. Please note: there will be different projects for weeks 2 and 8.
Members: $160.74 + HST, Non-Members: $165 + HST
Sandra Greenblatt
Nature, famous artists and children’s literature provide the inspiration for Sandra’s lessons, fostering a sense of creative play in the studio. An art educator for over 20 years, she not only teaches at DVSA, but has brought her love for art history and its genres to young artists in HWDSB and HWCDSB schools and at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. Emanating a warm and caring manner, she has a flair for creating lasting bonds with her students.
