Program Description

Laughter Alert: Making pottery is highly addictive and may cause creativity, new ideas and gales of laughter. Students will explore the joys of clay as they construct pieces, using both the wheel and handbuilding techniques.

Members: $160.74 + HST, Non-Members: $165 + HST

Amanda Kopas

Amanda attended Haliburton School of the Arts for an intensive one semester program in ceramics. Upon graduation in 2013, she did a second year of the ceramics diploma program at Sheridan College before heading east to attain her BFA at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She also took on a seasonal residency at the Nova Scotia Centre for Craft. Now back in Hamilton, she is active teaching classes, participating in shows and making ceramic creations in her home studio. More here.
