Let’s take our ideas into the media lab and design new and exciting compositions for the digital age. We'll explore Adobe software that allows us to manipulate photos, collage images and digitally paint or illustrate to create original and impactful artwork. Other projects include image restoration, superimposing, photo tracing, poster design and procedural art. By the end of the class, you’ll have a handle on the basics of digital design and be using technology to create imaginative art you can share online with friends. *Artists are welcome to bring in their own device with the design program of their choice, if they prefer*.
