A course designed to inspire all levels of young artists and enhance their skills in both drawing and painting. Fun weekly projects are focused on studying modern and classic painting styles and developing skills in blending, perspective, the use of light & shadow and creating atmosphere to add drama and depth to a composition. We’ll explore familiar and new materials such as chalk, charcoal, pastels and conte, and dive into watercolour, acrylic, gouache and inks. It’s an active studio with a creative buzz sure to foster a young artist’s individual style.
