Splatter it, stamp it, stencil, paint or glue it! Using a variety of mediums including watercolour, tempera, pastels, markers and more, the artists will create paintings, collages and drawings to express their unique selves. We’ll use prompts from nature and the animal kingdom and create abstract works that tap into our intuitions to express feelings and personal experiences. Working independently or in a group for a larger cooperative artwork, this studio is set up for artists to accomplish great things.
Members: $232.52 + HST, Non-Members: $239 + HST. Saturday.
Lena Montecalvo
A self-taught watercolour artist, Lena uses vibrant hues in untraditional ways and advocates for “colouring outside the lines.” Establishing a spirited studio environment that fosters experimentation and self-expression, Lena believes art is for everyone and with the right instruction and motivation, we can all access our creative abilities.
