3A67-A Botanical Drawing Accuracy and Graphite Technique

-Adult- | Available

Frequent drawing practice is necessary for success in this art form that is founded in realism. Heather will offer drawing skill development using selected seasonal subjects as well as offering core graphite techniques required for eligibility in future graphite and coloured pencil opportunities. Participants are welcome to take one or both workshops. Newcomers to botanical art are welcome, however you must be fully comfortable with the accurate drawing of an actual plant specimen. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own botanical specimens. A list of suitable botanical subjects – fruit, vegetable or flower, will be emailed prior to the workshop. Participants must already own or purchase a copy of the accompanying e-booklet β€œThe Value of Colour – Pale Hues,” available as an add-on when registering for $20 + HST.

Members: $82.69 + HST, Non-Members: $85 + HST. Saturday.
