A special afternoon time for young potters 7+ to create with a family member. Together you’ll explore the joys of clay as you construct pieces using handbuilding techniques in this fun and fast program. And yes, pottery is still highly addictive and may cause outbreaks of creativity, new ideas and gales of laughter... Please note: we are unable to provide refunds/credits/transfers for these courses.

Hackett-Burns, Dawn

Acclaimed ceramic artist and Sheridan grad, Dawn Hackett-Burns lives in Greensville, ON and has been teaching children’s clay classes for over 10 years. Her own clay practice often references place and culture and utilizes pattern and repetition. Nature is also a recurring subject. She has a gift for designing lessons and projects that fuel imaginations and gets artists of all ages excited about building with clay.
