Colouring outside the lines and breaking the rules of art is encouraged in this studio. You’ll develop a strong foundation of watercolour painting techniques that can be applied to floral, landscape, abstract or any subject you feel inspired to paint. We’ll also try our hand at incorporating pen and ink, resist materials, pastels, markers, salt and watercolour pencils. When you splash, splatter and spray, drip, pour and scratch, vibrant results are bound to happen! *Please note: there will be no class on May 20th *

A self-taught watercolour artist, Lena uses vibrant hues in untraditional ways and advocates for “colouring outside the lines.” Establishing a spirited studio environment that fosters experimentation and self-expression, Lena believes art is for everyone and with the right instruction and motivation, we can all access our creative abilities.
