For the young artist who loves drawing and the outdoors! Warmer spring weather means opportunities to be field journalists on short hikes and in the yard, observing the native plants and insects of the season. With a focus on developing strong observational skills, we’ll engage in a range of fun drawing projects that include lessons on line quality, contour drawing, perspective, developing texture, shading and negative space, and how to approach realism. Classes are a blend of outdoor and in-studio work.
