Imaginations will ignite as the cartoon artists design their own illustrations and comic strips while learning about key art concepts. Topics include contour drawing techniques and exercises, cartoon character features, how to reference and embellish caricatures and how to produce a comic strip. Projects will focus on using line, shape, colour, texture, form, value and space to hone illustration skills with several different fun and engaging cartoon themed activities. This course is great for beginner artists – no pre-requisites required. *Please note: there will be no class on May 18th*
