Urban Photography embraces the spontaneous encounters of life and the hidden beauty in the city environment. In this two-day workshop, we’ll define urban photography and learn how it groups the different genres – architecture, fine art and street photography – all into one. We’ll study examples, learn tips and tricks and have a session exploring and photographing the unique character of the town of Dundas. The photo session will be followed by editing your photographs in our media lab along with a class discussion and photo shares. You’ll leave this course with a better understanding of how the details of an environment can make that special photograph. Participants should have some basic photography knowledge. Bring your own camera – DSLR/Mirrorless or point-and-shoot.

Members: $170.59 + HST, Non-Members: $175 + HST (Prices include media lab fee). Sunday.
