Combine watercolour paint with ink line work and voila! – gorgeously effective paintings! These whimsical works are deceivingly easy to create as the ink line drawing forgives many errors in the watercolour painting, making for a relaxing and stress-free art experience. We’ll work with the properties of watercolour first and then add our inks in a variety of controlled and experimental methods. It may be a straightforward process, but you’ll soon discover the challenges and options when merging these mediums are endless. Suitable for beginners or those with experience.

Benoy, Nancy

Hamilton resident, Nancy Benoy, is a self taught visual artist, working primarily in acrylic, watercolour, ink and paper. She is known for her highly acclaimed abstract works that emphasize an intuitive and expressive approach. Spirited and always up for a creative adventure, she is an advocate for art in the community, facilitating art workshops at her home studio and throughout the city.
