Learn how to create a layered, textured and volumetric painting of a floral subject using a palette knife. The appeal of the palette knife is its ability to create thick strokes, smooth transitions and steep influxes. You’ll learn how to control and manipulate the paint, applying it more loosely and with intention. See how the petals of the flower become lively and volumetric! Other topics include developing a clean, well-structured composition, colour theory and mixing, value studies and developing palette techniques. For all levels.

Members: $193.27 + HST, Non-Members: $199 + HST. Tuesday.
