A great landscape introduction for beginner and intermediate painters. Learn about composition in landscape painting as we identify the background, middle ground and foreground in a scene. Emphasis will be placed on colour theory and the use of unconventional colours to enhance our landscapes. Other topics include colour mixing, brush work, perspective and proportion and finding shapes of colour within our chosen landscape to create light and shadow. Some previous painting experience is beneficial for this course.
