Part of our DVSA Friday Nights series – here’s your chance to unwind from the week, enjoy an adult libation or two and settle in to create. Join us for a relaxed, playful evening experimenting with different mediums and techniques as you create artworks using your intuition and lots of creative freedom. Depending on your choice of workshop (or workshops!), you’ll be introduced to art concepts such as colour mixing and theory, composition, value, design principles, brush handling and more. It’s a fun time – make it a date night with your partner or BFF. Or fly solo and make new BFFs! No experience necessary and all levels welcome. And, all materials provided – just show up and let it happen. 1 complimentary bar beverage per participant plus cash bar (19+) or unlimited soft drinks included. Please note: We are unable to provide refunds/credits/transfers for these courses.

Vanderbreggen, Rosemary

An instructor at DVSA and Haliburton School of Art & Design, Rosemary works primarily in the mediums of collage and paint, but is also known to create sculpture and photography artworks. She was the first Reclaim Resident Artist at Haliburton School of Art & Design and has exhibited widely with works in national and international collections. Grounded in art principles and always one to honour the process, she’ll have you easing out of your comfort zone and creating fresh work of which to be proud.
