Developing your creative voice and photographic style is top priority as we delve into fine art photography. With a focus on inspiration and vision through composition and the art of storytelling, you’ll grow your skills and come to understand what makes a good photograph. Topics include an examination of Black and White photography and methods to bring out the best in your images through Photoshop. Throughout the course, there will be practical assignments designed to help take your photographs to the next level. Prerequisite: Introduction to Digital Photography or permission from Instructor.

Finn, Jennifer

A fine art photographer from Dundas, ON, Jennifer is lauded for her abstract work, which she says, “inspires her imagination and challenges her mind.” She holds a B.A. from McMaster and studied Photography at Sheridan College. Continually reminded that interesting images are hiding all around, she values and teaches an inventive approach grounded in photography fundamentals. She is honoured to share her passion for photography with aspiring artists.
