Photographers often say they crop their images twice – once in the camera, and later, on a computer. In this introductory course, you’ll learn how to use photo editing programs such as Photoshop to crop your original photographs and save them in a variety of formats. We’ll also explore basic image manipulation such as darkening or lightening your photos, adjusting colour, vibrance and saturation, and how to convert a colour photograph to black & white. Using filters creatively and a review of some of the more advanced features available will also be part of our discussions. You’re sure to come away with a full toolbox of expertise on how to transform your good photos to great. Don’t forget to bring your own original images to edit. *Please note: there will be no class on July 11*
