Using a range of sewing techniques, we’ll design something fantastical from the wilds of our imaginations. Working with patterns, decorating fabrics with dyes and stitching threads and buttons, we’ll piece everything together to create a unique handmade toy or doll. It’s art you can squeeze!

Ariella Boltinsky
A textile artist and lover of craft, Ariella earned her Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts from McMaster University. With a playful touch of humor and a dash of absurdity, Ariella’s teaching entertains, inviting students to delve into whimsical worlds of creativity. Her goal is to spark creativity in others by demonstrating the joy and depth found in the playful exploration of craft.
