Budding artists and nature lovers will enjoy experimenting with leaves, twigs, seeds, flowers and rocks as we use our natural surroundings to make art. Some projects will be inspired by nature, and some will use nature’s materials to create vibrant paintings and sculptures. Whether we’re in the studio or outside in the courtyard, the ideas for our projects will come.. well, naturally. Please note: the artists will be going offsite on supervised walks to collect items and to sketch and paint en plein air.

Members Fee: $151.04 + HST, Non-Members: $155 + HST

Benoy, Nancy

Hamilton resident, Nancy Benoy, is a self taught visual artist, working primarily in acrylic, watercolour, ink and paper. She is known for her highly acclaimed abstract works that emphasize an intuitive and expressive approach. Spirited and always up for a creative adventure, she is an advocate for art in the community, facilitating art workshops at her home studio and throughout the city.
