By request, this longer edition of our absolute beginner’s painting class offers the encouraging handhold you’ve been looking for. Jump into a new creative world and discover what it is to feel good about the process of painting. You’ll receive an in-depth introduction to the basics of acrylic painting, along with enlightening discussions about drawing and composition. With the additional classes, we’ll also address working abstractly and have time to develop a more sustained painting on canvas. It’s time to get your feet (and canvases) wet and take the first steps on your artistic journey. All materials provided – just show up and let it happen.

Bischoff, Natasja

Natasja is a Hamilton visual artist whose work is primarily concerned with the composition of abstract forms. With a B.F.A. from Guelph University, she is known for her dynamic drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media pieces. A member of The Assembly artist collective, she regularly participates in regional invitational and group shows. She is comfortable teaching both adults and children, creating a studio environment that fosters creativity and experimentation.
