Curious about the art of printmaking, but feeling hesitant about the unknowns of this traditional technique? This one day workshop offers encouragement and simple, easy-to-follow steps for the absolute beginner printmaker. Spend a day in the print studio getting a feel for the process and working with various water-based print methods including mono-printing, silkscreening and relief techniques. After this warm-up session, you may feel ready to bring your ideas to a full beginners’ printmaking class. All materials included. Sunday. Course Fee: $99 includes a $15 material fee. Limit: 12 students

Laura loves to bring printmaking to beginners with a user friendly step-by-step process in a relaxed and supportive studio. A proponent for non-toxic printmaking, she guides an energized print collective – beginners and advanced – with an encouraging hand, continually introducing new methods, materials and ideas.
