WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

Synchro from CUBIC Corporation (via its subsidiary Trafficware) is a software suite for traffic signal timing, analysis, optimization, and simulation. It enables traffic engineers to model, animate, and optimize signalized, unsignalized intersections and roundabouts to improve traffic flow and safety.

This 4-day (in-person) training will cover Synchro Studio Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced topics as described in the agenda below.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is intended for traffic engineers, planners and technicians, in both public agencies and private firms, responsible for signal timing design and analysis of signalized and unsignalized intersections.

    TRAINING TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Participants are required to bring their own laptop with Windows 10 or Windows 11 installed.

    Access to download the SYNCHRO software will be provided.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Due to schedule commitments from our instructors, the registration fee is not refundable if a registrant withdraws less than 48 hours before the workshop. If you cannot attend, you may designate a substitute participant for the workshop at no additional cost (please notify us in advance if possible). Michael Trueblood

Michael Trueblood, PE, PTOE

Michael has over 30 years of experience as a transportation engineer in the areas of traffic operations, traffic modeling, and traffic design. He currently is employed by WSP USA in Houston, TX and previously worked for Trafficware during development of Synchro 8 & 9.  He has conducted several Synchro/SimTraffic webinars and in-person training sessions.
