Advanced Ceramics:

Students taking this class should have at least one, but preferably two, semesters of ceramics experience. The class will involve detailed work, which may result in fewer finished pieces being brought home due to the time and care invested in each project. We will explore techniques such as sgraffito, layering slip, carving intentional patterns and designs, and possibly painting a highly detailed premade ceramic piece. My goal is for this class to serve students who are ready to take their ceramics skills to the next level!
