This course has a minimum enrollment requirement of 15 students and a maximum of 20 students.https://www.progressivegamejam.com/pgj-ed/NHA in partnership with The Sacramento Developers Collective (SDC) is offering Progressive Game Jam – Educational Edition (or PGJ ED.), a program designed to teach 21st-century digital skills to 12 to 18-year-old students (7th-12th grade) with a focus on STEAM.The course is modeled after the decade-old Progressive Game Jam and uses the full development lifecycle of making a video game as a learning method to teach digital skills. The curriculum will include instruction on the basic concepts of video game development including coding, art, animation, basic AI, sound, and UI/UX, as well as an understanding of development methodology.Participants who complete the course will have made a full game from beginning to end.Computers will be provided for in-class use and mentors from the SDC will teach the class. Students who complete the course will have the opportunity to showcase their game at the SDC showcase in April
